Parody posters of U.S. President Barack Obama made to look like Heath Ledger’s version of the Joker in The Dark Knight have started spreading throughout L.A. and other parts of the country but nobody seems to know who’s responsible for it.
Clearly, the Obama Joker poster is an attack on the president’s push to reform America’s healthcare system. He is apparently losing some support among the public for his plan and this obviously doesn’t help his case.

(these days a fly shirt costs $30-$40, I’d like to think otherwise) Of the 3 designs, one has already been released “I’m just doing my job” (sold out, there’s more on the way!) and the other 2 “RUN PEK” and “Back to the Hotel” (inspired by the N2Deep classic) make their way on June 21st, just in time for Fathers Day! 2 more designs will follow at the end of July making my collection 5 deep in selection.

Here it finally is. We have heard about this for a while and now we can finally show you pictures of the Takashi Murakami, Pharrell Williams, Jacob sculpture, which was made for the Art Basel fair this year. Murakami created a sculpture and Jacob the jeweler re-created some of Pharrell’s products of choice in premium metals and diamonds. The blinged out objects, including a Pepsi can, Ice Cream Sneakers, Cupcake, Doritos and a condom, have been placed in the mouth of the Takashi Murakami sculpture.
The sculpture is being exhibited from today at the booth of Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin at Art Basel.
This week they decked out eight lucky players in 70’s style haircuts. What are they trying to say, that the Cavs would have won if it was 1973? They are probably right. No one would be able to stick LeBron.

An 18-year-old has secretly painted a 60ft drawing of a penis on the roof of his parents’ $1 million mansion in Ohio. It was there for a year before his parents found out. They say he’ll have to scrub it off when he gets back from traveling.

Atlanta-based artist Brian Dettmer creates marvelous sculptures by performing surgery on books. I know right, genius. At least now I can appreciate the long pointless tedious pages that can instead be rented at your local blockbuster. Fuckin’ book sculptures… ahahahahah!
